Job Summary

Candidate should have relevant experience of handling Electrical discipline design, Procurement and Project management of Industrial projects from various sectors such as Chemical, Food & Beverages, Pharma, Seed Processing, Mineral Processing, Oil & Gas etc. Experience and knowledge of Healthcare & Hospitality sector shall be an added advantage.

In depth knowledge and clarity on accurate application and compliances on various applicable codes such as IS, IEC, IEEE standards are prime requirement.

Candidate should have a zeal to develop his/herself in the interest of self-growth in synchronization with organization growth and put sincere efforts in developing new skills to enhance performance in Electrical Design of complete Industrial Projects.

Candidate from Engineering consulting organization would be the preference.

Responsibilities and Duties

Below are the key responsibilities,

  1. Development Electrical Design as per the project requirement, from EB tapping point to the end user plug point complete electrical system.

  2. Develop Load list, HT/LT distribution, Bus-bar Calculation, SLDs, Cable sizing, Cable & Cable termination scheduling, Cable routing, Cable tray layout, Key plan, Electrical Equipment layout, Grounding/earthing layout, Lightening protection system design, Power & Lighting layout, Low voltage system, data and telephone, Building management system, Fire detection and alarm system etc.

  3. Design of Electrical Control Panels, MCC, PCC, DB etc. to the general arrangement level to frame the procurement specifications and basic drawings.

  4. Developing and compiling Bill of material and technical specifications etc. for package tender.

  5. Review and verification of multidisciplinary drawings, report & document and identify clashes/gaps/variations if any and suggest/implement possible remedies to the variations.

  6. Collect input from other discipline / functions such as Architectural, Civil & Structural, PEB, Mechanical, Fire Fighting & detection, Instrumentation and incorporate relevant inputs to the drawings in order to have detailed drawings.

  7. Compile Tender document.

  8. Conduct Pre-Qualification checks for the identified potential bidders.

  9. Float tender and lead the tender process as a key tender committee member.

  10. Technical bid evaluation, organize and lead the pre & post bid meetings and give appropriate rating to the bidders based on quality, completeness and compliances of the bids received.

  11. Review and approve submittals received from the contractor, resolve queries received from the project site team/ contractors

  12. Keep track and control on the project timeline, quality, cost, changes/ variations and maintain Management of Change procedures for the project.

  13. Organize/attend stage review / Project progress review meeting at predefined frequency and keep Coenz Management and client posted with the project progress, challenges, possible remedies etc.

  14. Whenever needed, visit the sites (across India / outside India) to collect the site measurements and develop the As-built drawings as per the project requirement.

  15. Visit project site as per project requirement to review the on-site project progress and quality compliances, addressing concerns if any, from project site team/ contractor and clarify site level challenges if any.

  16. Get actively involved in proposal development and deriving project cost for proposal preparation and identifying and incorporating critical terms and condition safeguarding company and project in unforeseen project conditions.

  17. Take lead and spread positivity in handling every challenging situation and project demands.

  18. Attend various training programs, seminars and promotional events to upgrade knowledge on new software, technology, materials, procedures and technics being used/ can be used in improving the safety, quality, workmanship and time consumption in any project.

  19. Candidate must be willing to upgrade his/her skills to next level and improve continuously in order to take next level responsibility and become an active team member of an organization.

  20. Candidate must be willing to be an active member of Coenz Safety Committee as decided by QHS head and play an active role in ERT.

  21. Candidate must spread positivity and demonstrate leadership in his/her work profile and willing to grow him/herself in multi-direction.

  22. Candidate must be open to travel/ stay within / outside India for project purpose if needed.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  1. Graduate /Masters in Electrical Engineering

  2. Minimum 10 years (for B.E) to 8 Years of experience (for M.E)

Design software – AutoPlant3D, Autocad, Revit, other relevant Computer proficiency to handle and control his/ her role and responsibility effectively.
